ACTIVITIES

MONTHLY MEETINGS:

Meeting days:                   The second Wednesday of every month

                                                There can be summer s off

Meeting times:                 9:30 AM               Social

                                                10:00 AM             Business Meeting

                                                11:00 AM             Program

                                                We may stay at the meeting room until 4:00 PM

Meeting Place:                 La Posada Retirement Facility recreation room

1.       From I-19 Take Continental road east to the second four way stop sign intersection

2.       Turn left and follow the road to the next stop sign

3.       Turn right and follow the road which curves through the houses

4.       On your left  will be an area with shuffle board courts and a parking lot

5.       The meeting building is immediately behind the shuffle board courts

6.       Please park sensibly:

a.       If you do not have trouble walking, please park away  from the area close to the walkways to the building.

ONE DAY STITCHING RETREAT/ LUNCHEON

                One day stitching retreat with lunch.  Usually held in November at a local restaurant.

THREADED TREASURES

                Bi-annual non-judged and non-juried exhibit of members works held in odd number years.  Any member is eligible to participate.

COMMUNITY PROJECTS

            Stitching projects which are donated to local Green Valley facilities.  The mural of Madera Canyon in the meeting room and the artwork in the children’s sections at the Green Valley Library and the state name plaques at Friends in Deed are our past Community Projects.
